Otolaryngology Physician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist for a full-time Locum to Perm opportunity in the vibrant city of Des Moines, Iowa. Join a well-established ENT practice with a broad patient reach across central Iowa. This position offers a unique blend of outpatient clinic, inpatient care, surgical procedures, and call coverage, with potential for teaching opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Practice Details:

• Full-Time Schedule: 36 patient contact hours/week (Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM)

• Clinic Locations: Des Moines (hospital) and Clive (clinic)

• Inpatient & Outpatient Mix

• Call: Included in schedule (hospital coverage)

• Clinic Patient Volume: 30+ per day

• Appointment Duration: 15 minutes

• Support Staff: 1:1 Physician-Nurse and Ancillary Support

• Exam Rooms per Provider: 2 3

• Onsite Access: Imaging, lab, and pharmacy services available in building

• EMR: EPIC

• Teaching Opportunity: Yes

Scope of Practice:

• Full range of ENT services

• Flexible OR scheduling based on availability

• Serving central Iowa communities, including Boone County, Indianola, and Pleasant Hill

Ideal Candidate:

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology Required

• Active IA License or IMLC Required

• Full-Time Availability Required

• Strong ENT Experience Required
