Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
Position Overview:
We re seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine PA to join a dynamic and collaborative Emergency Department team at a reputable community hospital in Massachusetts. This is a locum tenens opportunity starting in June. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously with confidence this is for you!
ED & Facility Details:
- ️ Total Beds: 44
- Fast Track: Yes Staffed by APPs (handles 40% of volume)
- Admit Rate from ED: 15%
- Transfers: 1 2 patients/day max
- Trauma Level: None (Community Hospital)
- Referral/Transfer Hub: Regional center (STF)
- EMR: Epic
️ ED Staffing:
- ️ 11 ED Physicians in the group
- ️ ️ 2 Physicians Always on Shift
- APPs work autonomously (supervising MD always present)
Requirements:
- ️ Board-Certified PA ( No new grads ) REQUIRED
- Active MA License REQUIRED
- ACLS/BLS Certifications REQUIRED
